Clinical research is essential to the development of new interventions and medical knowledge

Through a clinical trial, we can determine if a new intervention is safe, effective, and whether it is better than the interventions that are already available. Clinical trials often lead to new therapies or procedures becoming available, which may improve your health care, or the health care of others.

KOALA works with international researchers and collaborators to set up clinical trials in Australia and New Zealand.

To find out more about these trials, see our Current Studies

Information on taking part in clinical trials is available at Australian Clinical Trials
